1. Warranty on kitchen furniture
Keukendepot Bonaire provides a 5-year warranty on kitchen cabinets, hinges and drawer systems, starting from the delivery date. This warranty covers manufacturing and material defects under normal household use.
2. Warranty on appliances
All supplied appliances carry a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty, unless the manufacturer provides a longer warranty period. Warranty service is handled according to the manufacturer’s terms through the designated service partner.
3. Warranty condition (installation)
The warranty on kitchen furniture and appliances applies only when installation and connections are performed by an installer appointed by Keukendepot Bonaire.
4. Existing connections and responsibility
Existing water, drainage, electrical and gas connections are the responsibility of the contractor or homeowner. If these connections are unsuitable or unsafe and are not adjusted, any resulting damage is not covered under warranty.
5. Water and moisture damage
The warranty is void in case of damage caused by leakage, incorrect connections, high water pressure, structural defects or flooding.
6. Handover and reporting obligation
At handover, the kitchen is inspected together with the customer using the completion checklist. By signing the handover form, the customer confirms the kitchen has been received in good condition. Visible defects must be reported at handover. Hidden defects must be reported in writing within 7 days after discovery.
7. Service and resolution
Within the warranty period, Keukendepot Bonaire may, at its discretion, repair or replace parts, perform technical repairs, or provide an appropriate solution. The warranty does not cover consequential or indirect damages.
